SIDE NOTE: By POpular Request, No More Stars. Weekend Update! And what a weekend it was. Lets see Starting on Friday, John flew in from NE and we Met up for Some Steak at a local steakhouse. Sweetwater Tavern. I Highly suggest it. After than we headed back to my Place to catch up and hang out. Saturday, We headed out to Go to Lunch, This time at a Place called Kilroys. Another great place to eat, just watch out for the Snippy 21 year old Waitress with the Gianormous hicky on her neck. Anyways, John split off to go Do his stuff (which he should really write about on HIS website) and I went shopping for my Future as a Scout Trooper. I finaly Decided to start buying the Parts needed for a Scout Trooper Outfit. I have been doing a lot of Reasearch and Believe I found all the components I need for the Best Prices. It’s still going to take some time to get every thing together. Managed to get a Black Flight suit, My Boots, and Material for the Soft Armor parts which Lori has ever so Graciously offered to help me make. The Next Day I Finally managed to get the house back in order so I could start on a few projects, to Include making my Scout blaster from Scratch. Most of it will be made from wood, which is good because it’s CHEAP! John Finaly showed up again and Is now Feeling better after about 2 Gallons of water I poured into him, must have been a good party (: Any ways, I am off to bed now and BAck to work tomorrow.

I Lied. Last night while I was Sitting and Playing Galaxies, I moved my Foot and my Toe nail (yes the bad one) got caught on my Blanket. It pulled it just enough to start a tear (ironicly it didn’t hurt…… Much) So anyways, I Examine it and Decide that Without the nail on, (really it was going to fall off eventually) It would have a better chance of healing and not getting Infected. Now the real Reason I didn’t Put a Picture up to start with is because with the Nail on it didn’t look all that bad, BUT NOW IT’S HORRIBLE!!! So I thought I would Share (: Aren’t I nice? So… In other news, Hmm Wait, I have no Other news. Ahh Well, If something comes up I’ll Add to this. Morning All!!!

I figured That I would spare you the Horror of a picture of my Toe. It scares me to look at it so I am sure that most of you would pass out at the sight of my Hideous Toe Demon. Suffice it to say, I am feeling SOOOOOO much better today. When I got home from work yesterday I was Un-able to walk, I soaked in Epsom Salt, I Iced it for Swelling, I took Motrin, I Soaked in Hydrogen Peroxide, and Finally Before work Today I Bandaged it up nicely. It’s doing Amazingly better. Still No Skiing tho, I don’t want to Push it. Anways, not much else to report. I will need to clean my house up a little when I get home. I wasn’t much in the mood for cleaning last night so the place is a mess. And Friday is PAYDAY!! Means I can take care of some of the Financial Issues that have been Haunting me. On a Completely Un-related topic. It’s Rant time. Today a New movie gets released, The Passion of the Christ, I Personally would like to see this movie (more over to see how much they got right) But I love Religious History, Even if I may not agree with it. My problem is, What’s with all of these Psychos that are calling Theaters and Threatening them with bombings and such if they show the movie. Good Gods people, It’s just a Movie. It’s Someone’s Opinion of How a certain Time Period MIGHT have Happened. Faith is Just that, a Matter of Keeping Faith. If I have Faith in the Diety that I believe in, Why should I care what someone else says About it? And while we are talking about Deities, What would yours say if He/She/It Knew that you were planning on Hurting people Because of a Freaking Movie!!! What happened to the Golden Rule of Do Unto Others. Love Thy Neighbor, Live and Let live, Give Peace a Chance. Any ways, Go Watch a movie and try not to Riot (Unless it’s Ishtar, Everyone should Riot THAT movie)

OW OW OW OW OW OW OW!!!!! Holy good Gods my Toe is in Excruciating pain!!! This morning it is Swollen and it hurts to even look at it. The Scary thing is that I actually WANT to go to the DR about this (and for those of you who know me, Thats pretty bad) But My New Insurance cards haven’t come in yet and I certainly can’t afford the trip right now. Maybe a Stop off at Walmart at Home and Checking out their First Aid Section would help. Epsom Salt work for this? Well This means No Skiing for me on Thursday, damnit. I can only hope that I can walk on this by This weekend else I am stuck here. Oh yeah, John comes in this weekend. [sigh] Will take a Picture when I get home of my Toe do you can all See what I feel. Ahh well, Off to Work I go.

Wow, is it Sunday already? Where did My weekend go? Well, It is the Perfect Lazy sunday. I have spent most of the day Relaxing after a Wonderful Evening. Stayed in and Rented a few Movies. Lost in Translation was Wonderful, I highly Suggest it for ANYONE who has actually been to Japan, and I have to Say that Bill Murry did Outstanding in it. Down with love was the other Rental and that was Hilarious. Makes my want to Dress in the WHite Tux Jacket and and Sunglasses and Walk around with the Pointing at people while saying “Groovy” and “Love ya Babe!” Hmmm “Steve Petrucelli, Ladies Man, Mans Man, Man about Town” It could work! Well any ways, Today I am Just taking it Slow and Cleaning house. Last night at around 3am I Slammed my Toe into the Vacum Cleaner (Should have put that away) and I am in Such Pain. First Aid at 3am is not Fun. Oh yes, and before I forget, I received a VERY interesting E-mail today, Will the Real Beth Cohl, Please stand up, Enclosed is a Copy of the Original E-mail Sent from IP: 12.77.64.163 which is apparently a AT&T Dialup Account located in the DC area. It is most obviously a Joke, And only Slightly Funny. Anyone who Actually READ my website would know that I don’t even HAVE my armor yet! I mean Really now, Would a Little Research Hurt??

My First day as a Total Complete Civilian. And wow, the storm has Hit!! I often wonder what my life would be without stress. If nothing were happening and all was Calm………. prolly be pretty boring! I have now started at my new workplace and have hit the ground running! I have already been tasked with a BUNCH of things and have been running around like crazy. To be honest, I love it. I finaly am being productive!!! How am I able to write this you ask? Damn, Thats a good question, I should prolly get back to work. Besides, I need to make sure I get out of here on Time. I have a Very Special evening ahead of me.

TODAY IS A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY! FREE AT LAST FREE AT LAST, THANK THE GODS ALMIGHTY I AM FREE AT LAST!!! Thats right boys and girls, Today is the day that my Military Identification Card expires. and I will not be renewing it. It’s Over! THEY MAY TAKE MY UNIFORM, BUT THEY WILL NEVER TAKE MY FREEDOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!! That And with the news from yesterday, Wow, I think it’s Time to Celebrate! Hmmm If only I had someone Beautiful and Charming to Celebrate with

Good News!!! My paperwork came through!! Well, at least it should be in the system as of Tomorrow! Interesting timing seeing as how Tomorrow I become a Mr. Officially. Not much going on right now tho. More paperwork to fill out and such. We shall see what happens on the morrow.

Wow! What a weekend! So much to talk about and so little space! Wait a min, I have the whole page for space. Ok well lets see, I guess we will start in order.
Friday: Work went great, we had the Workplace Chili Cook-off which was a lot of fun. Got to hang out with the people I will finally be working with. Had lots of good Chili, Had a “Meeting” on the Fourth Floor, (ask me and I might tell you. I then headed back home for a night of playin around on Galaxies while I waited for Doc to arrive. The plan was: Doc drives up on Friday night and Farpoint Con Sat. So I settle into a nice SWG session. Doc Arrives and We Crack open the Guinness and Cider!

Saturday: Farpoint here we come! This will be my First Con in this area (especially as a Single Guy) Doc knows one of the 501st guys so we plan on meeting up with them. We arrive at the Hotel and Head in to register. Do the standard run through the Dealers room and check out the Moichendise, I Totally fell in love with an Axe that was on Sale there. DAMN ME FOR NOT HAVING THE MONEY!!!! Also saw a Great 2 Foot long Biker Scout on Speeder bike Figure (Ironicly was the same price as the Axe) I am happy to say that I practiced Restraint and did not make any purchases. (grumble) Thankfully one of the other 501st guys bought the Biker and saved me from having to Buy it. Finally went out and changed clothes into my Jedi outfit. Was great fun playing around with the troopers. Got Hounded by the Masquerade people to enter the contest and finally did, Didn’t win anything (could be that I had no Music, and nothing planned) After the Masquerade Doc and I hung out in the Bar with the 501st (Storm Troopers get all the Chicks!) and Drank Until the Dance Started……

Saturday Night: Spent Saturday Night Dancing, and More dancing, And even more dancing. Before you ask, I changed clothes so I was not the Dancing Jedi (that thing is Wool Buddy!!) Doc found himself surrounded by his Groupies (most of which were under age) and I Was Accompanied by a Lovely Member of the 501st named Lori. Then, More dancing. I think we finished up at around 3:45am and Made it back to One of the rooms, realizing that We had not had a Drink in Quite a few hours, (and lots of dancing). we figured it was time to Go home. We Said a Fond Adieu to our new friends and Drove home. (I drove that is, Bastard Doc Slept the whole way) Finally got home at 5am and crawled into bed, While visions of Trooper Groupies Danced in my head.

Sunday (afternoon?): Waking up is one of the things I dislike the most. I think most of sunday was spent recovering. We managed to take out some of the Boxes that I had emptied from the move (some? there was like 50!) In the process we noticed that someone had thrown out a Nice 27″ TV! Well it beats my 20″ so we brought it back and tested it out to see what was wrong, it looked ok for starters but after leaving it on for a while it started showing some strange artifacts (not the Indiana Jones type) so it was back out to the dumpster with it. after some Nice Chinese food and a good rest, Doc finally headed home and I settled into a quiet evening.

Monday: Parade time!!! The City of Alexandria has one of the largest Presidents day Parades and This year the 501st and the Rebel Legion was invited to join! So back into the Jedi robes I go! Met up at Lori’s house and then headed to Crickets house (BTW, as a side note about Crickets house…. WOW!!!) Then it was off to the Parade. we had a Total of 3 Storm Troopers, 4 Light Jedi, 2 Dark Jedi, 1 Rebel Pilot, and One Very Lovely Princess Leia. (damn I need a Han Solo Outfit, I bet Smugglers get just as many chicks as Storm Troopers!) The Parade was a Hoot! Great Crowd reactions. After the Parade was over we headed back to Crickets house for the after Parade party, we hung out and had a great time. The Hour was late and it became time to head home. And then with my exhausted body, Pain stricken knee, and Dehydration headache, I went home and crawled into bed. WHAT A WEEKEND!
