Well I congrat myself on doing absolutely nothing all weekend. And there weren’t nuthin wrong with it either. We stayed in and watched a few movies and Just enjoyed the nice weather of the weekend. Did I mention how much I LOVE my Porch? I have a back patio that opens up to a nice tree’d in area. It’s fairly secluded, a nice place to sit out and Drink a glass of Tea, or even sit out and smoke a clove. Especially now that the weather is getting nice out. So any ways, We noticed that a friend of mine is severely lacking on Movie Knowledge. Most movies that you and I see, or have seen simply because it is the genre that we know and love, Movies that we take for granted, She hasn’t seen! It floored me! I tore through my Library and she now has a Stack of movies that are required watching. I almost fear her Sanity after watching so many movies all at once, But I almost believe it will help her! We all need that every now and then. I hope to be posting again mid week with some more updates. Till then…

Oh my Aching head! What a weekend! I needed an extra Day just to recover from it. Well Here is the re-Cap. This last weekend was the Garrison Tyranus Toga Party. Held down at Marcs Place (Captain Condom to you buddy) It was a Blast, So much so that I don’t remember much of Last week! We Headed down to Calebs place Sat morning and got there around noonish. Took a Bit to relax from the 3 hour drive and then Headed to CC’s at 2pm. Well you see it’s supposed to be a Cook out so we started in the afternoon. Yeah Starting drinking in the afternoon is Always a good Idea! (: Words Can not Describe what occurred there so I give you Jango Steve’s Blackmail Repository. The Party was Awesome. I remember Leaving the party and Heading back to Docs place at around 11pm and needing lots of extra Care as I was moving in slow motion (ssssllllllllooooooooowwwwwww mmmmmoooootttttiiiiiiioooooonnnnn). We Finaly woke up at around noonish on Sunday and around 2 headed home. On the Way home we Stopped off for a Nice hour Break in Colonial Williamsburg. Saw some cool sites and we were going to eat in the Tavern but they didn’t open until 5pm. I Supose it’s a good thing as I was starting to feel icky. Monday Morning brought on a Nasty Cold which kept me home from work and Missing the Lovely weather we are having!!! Hopefully Today I can Get out and Enjoy it.

Well, You are all probably wondering why I haven’t been posting a lot lately. And For the Most part I really wish I could go Into detail about Why, unfortunately I can’t. A close friend of mine is going through a very hard time and Has had a number of un-forseen Complications added on top of the current issues. I have been helping as much as I can and it has been filling a lot of my time, But it’s not my place to say who/what/where. I hope you understand. I was also faced with an Interesting occurance this weekend. And So I present you with: The Tao of Steve…. Ok So it’s not so much a Tao but some things I starting really thinking about. I have a friend who is Really sick right now (not the afore mentioned friend, but another one) This person had reached a point in the sickness where the human Body and Mind really are almost to a Breaking Point. At this point They started to Doubt Faith. This person is a very Devout Christian. I was there when the Doubting began to take place. Now, let me Explain a bit here. I am not a Religious Person. Through my life I have seen many Things and read many texts. It is in my Honest Opinion that, Today’s Modern religions are perverted beyond what they were supposed to convey. Man has relied on Faith since the very beginnings of life. Unfortunately, Man also decided to dick it up. This whole “My Gods Better than your god” has Caused Wars, Famine, Disdain, Pain, Resentment, etc. Man has, through time, Changed Religion to meet his needs, This is not any specific religion, This is all of them. It’s the nature of mankind. I am not saying that it’s Wrong to believe in something, Quite the contrary, Faith is one of the most Important Assets of our lives. Without it, there is not much Purpose for us here. I just have a problem with Organized Religion. I believe in a God, It is just not the God that everyone has told me to believe in. The main reason for that? Because another Man(kind) has told me to. So, where is this leading? Getting back to my friend and the situation. I was forced to ask myself, How to I sit by a friend and comfort them while they begin to give up on a Faith that they have believed in for so long, and It’s a faith that I don’t have faith in? It really bothered me to see someone begin to give up like that. Even if I don’t believe in another persons beliefs, they are still the foundation for that Person. Long story made short (I know I know, too Late) My Friend is starting to feel better now, They did not give up on their beliefs, and instead saw it as a test (they passed). It was an Interesting Lesson for me, and Perhaps, my own Personal test.

Ok, I was confronted with a Scary thought today. Something that I pretty much already knew but it’s different when someone else comes to you with it. I apparently have a pretty large “presence” on the web! Someone from work was doing random searches and found some stuff on me on the web. Even went as far as mentioning some of the TSN stuff I have done and even some of the Vampire stuff I have done. Of course I realize that Most of this stuff is also listed on this web site, But I myself have even gone and done some searches, Image searches and the such. I know there are a few potentially embarrassing pictures from LAN conventions and the like. It’s just Odd to have someone else come up and say “yeah we found this about you”. Anyways! So this weekend was pretty fun, We went down to Docs place in Norfolk and had a great time. The Drive down there was painful. what should have only taken 2 1/2 hours ended up taking 6!!!! (ok ok maybe 5 But it was still long!) When we arrived, We took a nice Stroll on the Beach, it was very nice. After that we Headed over to CC’s place (a Fellow Garrison Tyranus trooper) and Hung out there for a while. Then Back to Docs for some Chineese food, Whiskey, and a Firefly watching party. Looking back now I find it Ironic that we were eating Chineese food and drinking Whiskey, if you know anything about Firefly then you will see the Irony. Sunday we did a little shopping and then headed back home. All in all was a good weekend!

Happy New month! Didn’t post yesterday because I was out during most of it, Honestly, I did want to. Especially since it was April Fools day. As it stood, I only did One joke on someone, That is so unlike me! Well, John flew in and I took the day off work So we could go Do stuff. Ended up staying awake till 4 AM on Wed night BS’ing and now my Sleep schedule is all screwed up again! But hey, it’s Friday right? Can’t Complain too much! Going down to see Doc this weekend, Will be taking the Armor of course. There has been a lot of Talk on the Garrison Tyranus boards about doing a Male Trooper Groupie, Wondering what the “Costume” would be for that. Granted I am not the Peak of Physical perfection that I should be, I don’t consider my self a Mutant. (Unless it’s the cool X-men type of Mutant, Cause I am all for that) Will be Pondering different Outfits this weekend. Am thinking maybe my Camo Vest with a Tight White Shirt, but what for Pants? Prolly Combat boots too. hmmmmmm We’ll see.
