Here is is a week after DragonCon and I am still beat! Managed to take a small Trip out to Six Flags with Rain and Steve and Marc and Lori. Got Amy to ride on a Roller Coaster for her First time! We headed back to The Montes Casa for a little Hot Tub Action! Sunday was a sick day. It was pretty much Lounging on the couch watching Buffy. My Other eye got a Sty in it now so that one is all Swollen ): It sucks but it’s going away pretty quick. Anyways, Hope the week goes quick.

Oh Dear Gods where to start??? Well I guess given my memory it’s best to go Day by Day:

Wednesday: Was still at work until about 5ish then headed home to Franticly Pack and help John finish up his Clone trooper armor. We were working through the night to get it done. I ended up Crashing at around 2am and he was still Painting.

Thursday: Woke up at 5am (Forcefully) and Started packing the Car to go. 3 people, 2 Sets of Armor, 16 Total costumes, clothes for the whole weekend, and Cameras and such. All fit in my little Saturn. We headed out and were very very Tired. Made it to Fredericksburg and heard Steve, Rain, Marc and Lori on the FRS Radio! Managed to hook up with them for the rest of the Trip down, and it was a Blast!! we rolled into Atlanta at around 4:30pm and started unpacking and getting rooms settled. Was starving so we went to Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Shortly after that it was off to Browse around the General area and snap a few early Pictures. Then I think we managed to make it to Bed.

Friday: Ahhh the First Full day! We wanted to start out really Comfortable so we decided the Pirate gear was the easiest to do. While walking around downstairs we were Accosted by some other Pirates and Invited to a mini Pirate Parade! After that, Amy went off to help the Trooper Groupies with the “Droid Hunt” which was a Game the 501st was playing. I switched to my Neon Costume (which sadly I do not have a picture of) and just walked around and checked out stuff. Met up with Steve and Rain and they had gotten into Wolverine and Jean Grey Costume so Amy and I did a quick Spidey & MJ trip! After that we came back to the GT Party Room and Started Drinking, Heavily. Not Sure I remember much after that point, and I am not sure I want to. Ended up Crashing out around 1-2ish.

Saturday: Prolly one of the Biggest Days of the convention! The amount of Costumes there was AMAZING! Today was 501st day so it was Biker for me, Groupie for Amy, and Clone for John. Rain showed off her Fem Trooper. We got to meet Jewel Staite who played Kaylee on the HIT TV SHOW Firefly. She and Her Husband Matt were Awesome! We saw them at their Table, we saw them Out in front of the Panel room, They even Came in the same Elevator as us. Amy got them hook up with playing the Droid Hunt game. They Waved to us at the Restaurant we were at that evening. I even got to give them an “Imperial” Escort out of the Dealers room. Amy Inducted her into the Trooper Groupies. We also got to meet and Talk to Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin also from Firefly. Nathan is a Total Goofball! Saturday night was the 501st Mixer so we Got geared up again and headed out. This time we had TK-Prancer and TK-Dancer with us. It was a Monster of a day so we hit the Hot tub afterwards.

Sunday: Wanted to take my time and Browse all the Dealer rooms and such today so we Dressed as Civilan Cyclops and Jean Grey. Have to say it was great to walk around very comfortable and take a look at everything in our own time. We met up with Steve and Rain and Doc and Diz for our X-men shots. Shortly after that Amy and I headed up to change into Spidey and MJ again for the Masquerade. We lost the group so we headed out to the Shuttles to the Civic Center, sure enough, just as our shuttle Pulls away we see the group come out to get on the next one. The Masquerade was pretty Good. There were a lot of people that just ran toooooo long. We ended up getting fed up and headed out to hit the Bar. I got Dressed up as Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Amy dressed as a Slayer. Got a Lot of Compliments as well. After the bar we headed back to the Party room.

Monday: The Slow Going day! Things were still open but starting to close down. We opted for no Costumes and just take everything very slow. Lots of Hot Tub and Final Dealers room Browsing. We ended with the Annual Garrison Tyranus Dinner at Bennihana’s. After that, Packing for the Trip home.

Tuesday: Long Drive. So Tired. Came home, Slept Lots.

So here I am today, very tired and out of it. Will be taking John to the Airport in about 2 hours and then I dunno what. I have uploaded all my Pics to the Gallery and will provide links to Other Pic Pages soon. I will try and Post more tomorrow if I remember something I forgot.

Holy good Gods, when it rains it Pours!!! ok, so here I am, it’s 3 days to DragonCon. 3 DAYS!!!! The Stressers are Building. On Top of Getting all of the Costumes Ready, Working on Johns Clone Armor, Building a List of what To take Suddenly I get a Letter from GMAC (my Car Loan people) telling me they want more Money. Normaly this would be fine except I re-financed my Car through the my bank and GMAC was paid off. So I had a Huge Hassle with THAT today. THEN… it turns out I had to get the Brakes on my Car re-Done and the Serpintine Belt Replaced. GAH!!!!! I need a Vacation from getting ready for my Vacation!

Can you believe it’s only 6 days till DragonCon!!! I am so nervous! This is a big debut for me and a bunch of my costumes! I hope they all look ok. Anyways, not much else going on. I have gotten some good Reviews from my Video. I have started some test work for the next video. I don’t want to Leak too much info on it yet, But with the work I am planning for it, it’s gonna be good. I will prolly be re-vamping the WizFilm pages to show the new Videos. Also need to work on that Costume page for my Main site. I wouldn’t expect any of this to be done before DC tho. Something to hold you over Until then:

Did Toby Mcguire have to go through this much pain to get in shape? ok So maybe he prolly did, But he gets paid BooKoo bucks for that. So last night I went full bore and Hit the machine at about 7-8 MPH for 15 min with a sustained HR of around 175……. Twice. Add in a set of 40 Situps and 15 pushups before the workout, and then another 40 and 15 afterwards. I have 2 weeks left before we leave for DragonCon! I want to Look as Good as Possible. Granted I know I don’t look as bad as the tron guy, But still. When I get into a character I want to be Accurate! For DragonCon, I will become Peter Parker! (: (Ok Now I am starting to sound like a loon).

Ok, You know I have mentioned how much I love the Spiderman suit. And pretty much how much I love spiderman in general. Kinda like the Star wars thing with the 501st, there seems to be a great following in the way of Comic book costuming! Here are a few links for you Comic book Costuming nuts:

Everything else is going ok. My Eye is slowling getting better. it’s not as Swollen and not as sore. This upcoming weekend is a Solo weekend. Doc has invited me down to VA Beach, but I haven’t decided if I want to go. Next weekend (the 28th) John will be back in Town to work on his Armor and the weekend after that is DragonCon (wow is it that close???) So this weekend is just me and I have a chance to Breath and get things in order around the house. Not to mention getting costumes in Order. I think I am gonna start working on a Costuming page for the Site. So I can write up about each Costume I am doing. For DragonCon, Amy and I are doing Sort of matching Costumes. My Spidey Suit Has arrived!!!!!! Check out the gallery for some Pictures of it. Of course the Real fun will be when I wear the suit at DragonCon. WhooHoo I am so Excited! It fits really well and is Super comfortable!

The weekend went pretty well. Saturday we had a Company picnic. After that I came home and Waited for Doc and Diz to show up. We hung out for a while and then went to Rain and Steves place to hang out there and go Over costumes. Got to see an Early version of Doc’s Gambit costumes and all I have to say is WOW! I will see about Uploading some Pics soon.

Sunday we went to see Aliens Vs Predator. Overall it was good. Lacked any Deep story line but hey, I wasn’t expecting to see any. It was Far too short. I wanted to see Lots more Predator Kicking the Crap out of Slimey Alien action but it was Good. Came home, Ate dinner. Got Stomach Cramps, went to bed. Now this morning I have a Really wierd Un-explained Swollen Eye. I have no Idea why. If it gets worse I am sure you will hear about it.

Life gets increasingly weird. Like, logarithmically. I went out for a drink at a club I know last night, to hear some half-decent music and possibly talk to some people.

Almost done with my Gambit get-up for DragonCon. Wacky.
